Intuit announced the acquisition of itDuzzit on the official company blog, saying the following:

“I have very good news – Intuit has acquired itDuzzit! As you may know, itDuzzit is a cloud-centric integration platform that offers tools and pre-built integration solutions for hundreds of web-based and mobile applications”.

But now intuit is discontinuing the support for intuit sync manager from QuickBooks desktop version. ItDuzzit will no longer support integrations to QuickBooks Desktop. This means that any incorporation you have that connects to QuickBooks Desktop will cease to work. But this decision will not hamper the QuickBooks Online users. Intuit has been rebranded itself as intuit App connect and is already powering an important share of QuickBooks integrations. Intuit said that it has learned a lot from this journey. Unfortunately, the company is making some bad choices in order to accelerate the progress of QuickBooks the company is shutting down itDuzzit. This means a lot for itDuzzit customers as there are no ways to migrate from itDuzzit to intuit App connect.

In case you have a paid account with itDuzzit cloud service app that relies on the QuickBooks Desktop integration, it is recommended that you downgrade to the free plan, cancel your account, and notify intuit that you are billed for services that you can no longer use.

Due to new technology improvements, the QuickBooks core company Intuit has made the decision to discontinue Intuit Sync Manager services. There are some other solutions available and developers are working with it so you can continue to use your applications without Sync Manager. Intuit Sync Manager is one of the methods used by QuickBooks desktop users that securely sync their QuickBooks company file data with 3rd party applications and some internal add- on services such as recurring payments.
